Leads a team of HR Business Partners to deliver strategic human resources support aligned with the organizations mission vision and business objectives. Serves as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization driving workforce strategy organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. Balances hands-on employee relations support with enterprise-level consulting and change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute workforce and talent strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead and support change management initiatives including restructuring growth and transformation efforts.
• Drive employee engagement and retention strategies across assigned client groups.
• Utilize HR data and insights (e.g. turnover engagement workforce trends) to inform recommendations and decision-making.
• Manage and lead in the following activities:
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues ensuring consistent application and understanding of organizational policies and practices.
  • Provide guidance and tailored solutions to meet the needs of client population.
  • Lead training facilitate sensitive conversations and recommend solutions to enhance the employee experience.
  • Partner with leadership on organizational design efforts; advise on change implications and people impacts.
  • Lead a variety of internal HR projects and client initiatives.
• Operates with a high degree of autonomy setting priorities in alignment with organizational goals
• Lead coach and develop a team of HR Business Partners including hiring performance management and professional development.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct people leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience across multiple HR disciplines with strong knowledge of applicable labor and employment laws.
• Proven ability to influence and drive outcomes without direct authority.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with complex employee relations investigations.
• Experience advising senior leadership.
• Experience in organizational change or transformation.
• Experience in acute care hospital or academic medical center environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual communication platforms.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with Joint Commission Magnet designation or other healthcare accreditation standards.
• Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. Workday).
• HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP SHRM-SCP PHR SPHR).

The annual base salary range for this position is from $126984 to $200678 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

Although Fred Hutch is not sponsoring most H-1B visas at this time candidates who already hold an H-1B sponsored by another organization and are currently in the U.S. may be eligible for this position.
