Job Summary Performs diagnostic imaging services in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered. Position Highlights Full-time Weekend position: 3x13s – Friday/Saturday/Sunday – 6:30PM–8:00AM. New grads and experienced technologists are welcome to apply. $10,000 sign‑on bonus for full‑time positions (not applicable to current or former VUMC staff within the past twelve months). Relocation stipend (not applicable to current or former VUMC staff within the past twelve months). Industry competitive rates. Key Responsibilities Review radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost‑effective imaging. Apply a broad range of skills to ensure exams are completed timely and meet quality and compliance standards. Provide appropriate screening process to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards. The responsibilities listed are a general overview; additional duties may be assigned. Technical Capabilities Diagnostic Equipment (Fundamental Awareness): Has training, exposure or experience working with diagnostic tools; able to resolve simple equipment problems. Compliance (Fundamental Awareness): Demonstrates basic knowledge of core rules, regulations, instructions and guidelines as they apply to assignments. Patient Documentation (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience, training or exposure in patient documentation. Core Accountabilities Deliver job responsibilities that impact own job area/team with some guidance. Use existing procedures, research and analysis to solve standard job‑related problems that may require some judgment. Position Qualifications Certifications: LIC-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Licensure/Others: (none specified) Work Experience: Relevant work experience; less than 1 year. Education: Graduate of an approved discipline‑specific program (required).
