About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour or Night 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred, CNOR preferred Must-Have: Epic Experience Required Experience in Ortho Trauma, Craniotomy, and Trauma Level II Call required: 2 weeknights every 6 weeks and one weekend Saturday and Sunday 12-hour shifts every month and a half Description: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the operating room. Epic experience is required for this position. Candidates should be able to float within their scope to meet facility needs. The position involves caring for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures, including trauma cases. Candidates are expected to be proficient in specific surgical skills and techniques. Strong preference will be given to those with scrub experience. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and CNOR are preferred. Hard stops include advanced trauma cases and specific orthopedic procedures. Participation in call shifts is required as outlined in this posting. The ability to manage a diverse patient population with varying complexities is essential. Clear and precise communication with interdisciplinary teams will be crucial in this role. Candidates must submit supporting documentation including proof of address.
