Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Tech specializing in Radiology and Cardiology for a dynamic healthcare facility. The successful candidate will support outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients by performing general MRI exams using GE Voyager equipment. The role involves working in a fast-paced MRI department that handles a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, excluding invasive procedures that require anesthesia support, breast MRIs, prostate imaging, and biopsies.


In this position, the technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, and ensuring patient safety through strict adherence to isolation precautions. The department supports a diverse patient population and requires proficiency in multiple imaging procedures, including CINE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, MIP, MRP, and specialized surface coils.


The ideal candidate will have ARRT MR certification, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of relevant experience, including experience with adult acute care, ICU, ER/Trauma, and pediatric outpatient settings (preferred). Knowledge of unit systems such as EPIC, PACS, Visage, Pyxis, and email/Microsoft Teams is required.


Work hours are Monday through Friday from 06:30 to 15:00, with rotating weekend call coverage only one weekend (08/08/26 - 08/09/26) from 19:00 to 06:30. The department has a patient census averaging 18 patients daily across 151 beds, with a ratio of 1 technologist to 2 patients during day shifts.

The expected start date is June 10, 2026, but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability.
