Senior Business Analyst

Our Client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support requirements gathering and product development within a federal technology environment. This role will translate mission user needs into business requirements, user stories, workflows, and prioritized backlog items while partnering with product teams and product owners. Candidates must have an active Top Secret clearance, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and a minimum of 3 years of experience with Azure DevOps Server and Jira. Job Roles and Responsibilities Lead the collection, documentation, and management of mission user needs from prioritization through concept development, user story creation, development, and deployment. Gather business requirements and work with product teams and product owners to define and prioritize backlog items. Translate business and user needs into clear functional requirements and user stories for technical teams. Ensure the user perspective is incorporated throughout product planning and development. Gather and define requirements focused on usability, user experience, adoption, and engagement. Develop concepts of operation, story maps, briefings, user stories, business rules, and workflow diagrams. Provide business analysis and consultation for complex technology projects. Evaluate the business implications of technology within current and future operating environments. Analyze and interpret business and technical documentation. Evaluate complex problems involving multiple potential solutions and provide recommendations. Qualifications And Certifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 8 or more years of relevant business analysis experience. Active Top Secret security clearance required. Minimum of 3 years of experience with Azure DevOps Server. Minimum of 3 years of experience with Jira. Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and user requirements. Experience developing user stories and managing or supporting product backlogs. Experience working directly with product teams and product owners. Experience developing workflow diagrams, business rules, story maps, and requirements documentation. Strong analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills.
