Position Overview:
We are seeking interested individuals for entry positions for CNC Machinist with machine operator skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience within the classroom or in the field of CNC machining .
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CNC machining operations to produce precision parts.
- Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Apply knowledge of tool data, radial compensation, feeds and speeds , and cutting tool applications.
- Conduct first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain equipment, tooling, and workstations in clean and safe condition.
- Follow and contribute to lean manufacturing and best industry practices .
- Work independently while collaborating with engineering and quality teams.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist or an education in Mechatronics Technology, is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of radial compensation and tool offsets .
- Knowledge of cutting tool selection, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T .
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.) .
- Familiarity with ISO, AS9100, or other industry quality standards a plus.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
