This role is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and presenting the hotel’s complimentary breakfast while creating a welcoming and positive guest experience each morning. The Breakfast Attendant plays an important role in ensuring guests start their day with excellent service, a clean dining area, and a well-stocked breakfast presentation.

Job Responsibilities

Breakfast Service

• Prepare and set up the breakfast area according to hotel standards
• Ensure all food and beverage items are fresh, stocked, and properly presented
• Monitor breakfast service throughout the shift and replenish items as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area during service
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

Guest Service

• Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions and requests
• Help create a positive dining experience for all guests
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude

Kitchen & Cleaning Duties

• Clean and sanitize tables, counters, serving areas, and kitchen equipment
• Wash dishes and utensils as needed
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of the breakfast and back-of-house areas
• Properly store food and supplies following hotel procedures

Inventory & Team Support

• Notify management of low inventory or supply needs
• Assist with receiving and organizing breakfast deliveries
• Support other departments when needed to ensure guest satisfaction
• Follow daily checklists and operational procedures

Qualifications

• Previous food service, restaurant, or hotel experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
