About the Role

The Luxe Detail Studio by Matts Mobile Detailing is looking for a skilled and reliable Auto Detailer to join our team. This is a hybrid role — you'll travel to customers' homes and workplaces for mobile detailing appointments, as well as work on vehicles at our shop location. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is comfortable working independently, and delivers a consistently high-quality finish.

Responsibilities

- Perform full interior and exterior detailing services, including hand washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, shampooing, and leather/upholstery cleaning

- Travel to customer locations to complete mobile detailing jobs using company-provided equipment and supplies

- Complete in-shop detailing services as scheduled

- Inspect vehicles before and after service to ensure quality standards are met

- Maintain and restock detailing equipment, chemicals, and supplies in the mobile van/trailer

- Communicate professionally with customers, providing excellent service and addressing questions or concerns

- Follow safety protocols when using chemicals and equipment

- Keep accurate records of completed jobs and time on-site

Requirements

- Prior experience in auto detailing preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required

- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while on mobile jobs

- Attention to detail and strong work ethic

- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions

- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift detailing equipment for extended periods

- Reliable transportation to the shop and mobile job sites
