A great 401k match, paid life insurance and AD&D, education reimbursement, and a wellness credit program!All PPE is provided by SGI and offers reimbursement for your safety boots and prescribed safety glasses.Pay Rate: $43.76/hr - shift differential applies --- night shift, 11:00pm-7:00amBASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of 3-5 years Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentAvailable to work weekends, holidays and overtime as requiredCommitment to safety and qualityStrong mechanical aptitudeStick weldingQUALIFICATIONSCompetent in troubleshooting, repair and operation of mechanical systemsBasic understanding of preventative maintenance practices and schedulesCapable of safely performing maintenance work using hand and power toolsBasic understanding of plant electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, pumps, bearings, and mechanical drivesAble to replace electric motors, switches and wires as requiredGeneral knowledge of facilities maintenanceWelding and fabrication experience, stick welding required.Ability to operate fork lift to unload parts and conduct maintenance workPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSCapable of lifting 50 poundsProlonged standingExtended regular hoursCapable of kneeling, stooping, bending and crawling around machinery to perform work up to 7 hours per dayCapable of verbal communication with supervisor and techniciansWork is performed in enclosed facilities and outdoor areas where extremes of heat, cold, dust, noise, wet conditions and rough terrain exist.Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., without current or future requirement for sponsorship of an employment-based visa status.
