Line Cook

Jones Oyster Co. is seeking enthusiastic Line Cook candidates to join our team.

Schedule: Full-time and Part-time

Objective: Prepare hot and cold food items with consistency and quality. Ensure all food is served according to specifications.

Responsibilities include:

Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines
Ensure your station is set and ready for service
Learn all menu items produced by your assigned station
Complete work assignments to meet proper quantities within required timeframes
Handle refrigeration and serving of cold food
Produce and plate orders accurately and efficiently
Maintain safe food handling procedures at all times

REQUIREMENTS

Display basic knife skills
Minimum of 2 years' experience in fast paced, culinary environment
Ability to multi-task
Must be able to stand for 8+ hours per day
Team player
Must have a go giver personality and willingness to help
Must have availability to work primarily weekend, AM & PM shifts

The Jones Oyster Co. brings a taste of the coast to downtown Greenville, South Carolina. Part of the Table 301 Restaurant Group, our oyster bar serves raw and grilled oysters alongside seafood favorites such as lobster rolls, peel-and-eat shrimp, and fried oyster po'boys. Set in a restored historic building behind Soby's, Jones pairs its seafood-focused menu with a lively, neighborly atmosphere.

Our team takes pride in classic preparations, quality ingredients, and warm hospitality. We value the relationships we've built with local farmers, purveyors, and regional oyster growers, and we're proud to support oyster aquaculture and restoration.
