Industrial Painter

Full-Time Position

Location: Houston, TX 77084
Schedule: Monday- Thursday, 6: 00 AM- 4: 30 PM
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to prepare and paint industrial components and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, understands industrial painting processes, and can consistently produce a high-quality finish while following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and removing contaminants
• Mix and prepare paints, coatings, primers, and other materials according to specifications
• Apply industrial coatings using spray guns and other painting equipment
• Maintain consistent coverage, thickness, and finish quality
• Inspect completed work for defects, uneven coverage, runs, drips, or other imperfections
• Perform touch-ups and corrections as needed
• Follow production specifications, work instructions, and quality standards
• Properly clean and maintain spray guns, tools, and painting equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE
• Communicate equipment issues, material shortages, and quality concerns to supervisors

Qualifications

• Previous industrial painting experience required
• Experience with spray painting and industrial coatings strongly preferred
• Knowledge of surface preparation and paint application techniques
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Ability to work around paint, coatings, fumes, dust, and industrial equipment
• Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator/respiratory protection when applicable
• Ability to safely handle materials and painting equipment

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Industrial Painter looking for a consistent Monday- Thursday schedule and $24/hour pay.
