Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, supporting elementary students from kindergarten through fifth grade. This dynamic role covers a leave starting as soon as possible through November 2nd and invites you to make a real difference in young lives. Enjoy a structured full-time schedule from 8am to 4pm and gain experience working across two welcoming elementary schools just two miles apart—splitting your time 2.5 days at each location.
Your expertise will be vital in conducting both Re-evaluations (RETRs) and Initial Evaluations (IETRs), while also providing thoughtful behavioral support. This assignment offers meaningful collaboration with dedicated teachers and multidisciplinary teams, empowering you to contribute your specialist skills in diverse settings.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Must hold valid School Psychologist certification/license
- Experience working within K-5 populations is highly desirable
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Familiarity with RETRs, IETRs, and behavior intervention strategies
- Ability to work effectively across multiple school environments
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments, develop recommendations, and support intervention plans
- Deliver high-quality psychological and behavioral services to students
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Document and manage caseloads across both school sites
