Mancan Staffing has partnered with a Canton based company in seeking a compassionate, motivated, and organized Workforce Development Specialist to help individuals overcome barriers, secure meaningful employment, and achieve long-term career success. This position provides hands-on employment services, career coaching, job placement, and ongoing retention support to a diverse population, including vulnerable family systems.

Key Responsibilities
*Provide job placement, career coaching, and employment services.
*Conduct skills assessments and develop individualized employment plans.
*Provide job readiness training, resume development, job-search assistance, and interview preparation.
*Build relationships with employers and connect participants with appropriate employment opportunities.
*Provide job retention and follow-up support for up to 12 months following placement.
*Identify and help resolve barriers to employment, including transportation, childcare, legal/documentation issues, work supplies, uniforms, and other needs.
*Connect participants with appropriate community resources and support services.
*Maintain accurate and timely participant documentation in required databases.
*Prepare reports and presentations and track program outcomes, including employment placement, income growth, and retention benchmarks.
*Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all program policies and requirements.
*Provide participant transportation using a personal vehicle as necessary.

Qualifications
*Current, valid Ohio Drivers License, current auto insurance, and clean driving record.
*Own a safe, reliable vehicle available for participant transportation as needed.
*Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
*Experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and vulnerable family systems.
*Excellent communication, organization, time-management, and documentation skills.
*Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
*Ability to manage multiple priorities while providing compassionate, professional participant support.
