Details - Large short-term acute care hospital with over 1,200 staffed beds, Level I Trauma designation, and academic teaching affiliation - Cath Lab unit specializing in diagnostic and interventional PCI procedures with a 1:1 patient ratio - Patient population includes AMI, chest pain, heart failure, NSTEMI, aortic stenosis, V-Tach, endocarditis, AFib, peripheral vascular disease, and sick sinus syndrome - Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts on a rotating basis covering 0700–1730 (standard), 0700–1730 (late), and 1000–2030 (close) as needed - Every other weekend required - Rotating on-call required, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays — subject to change based on unit needs - Documents in Epic EMR; Epic experience required - Specialized equipment includes Impella and IABP - Floating within the Cath Lab service line required to meet facility needs - Navy scrubs required Requirements - Active MO RN license or Compact RN license valid in Missouri required at time of consideration - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required - Interventional scrub experience required - Experience in a high-volume, high-acuity Cath Lab environment required - Level I Trauma center experience required - Epic EMR experience required - Candidate's home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information - RN Circulator role involves providing conscious sedation under the direction of the attending physician, handing off sterile supplies, assessing vitals, and documenting in Epic - Cross-training to run hemodynamics in the monitor tech role is likely - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation - Travelers may remain at this health system for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required - Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler - Block scheduling is not available for this position - Monthly parking passes are available for purchase at various rates depending on location American Traveler Job ID #P-720660.
