The Machine Operator I is responsible for manufacturing products safely and efficiently to support the achievement of company objectives. | || --- || **Position Profile** |Non-ExemptFull-Time| || --- || **Reporting Relationships** |The Machine Operator I reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor.| || --- || **Major Duties and Responsibilities** |* Follow all process documents, such as work instructions, procedures, inspection criteria. Report results in appropriate Quality Management System (QMS) and communicate non-conformances to leadership.* Manufacture products in alignment with defined output standards as measured by daily operational efficiency.* Demonstrate flexibility of schedule when pursuing training opportunities to achieve personal and company objectives.* Understands and adheres to all safety requirements. Communicates identified risks to leadership and assists in resolution.* Completes all 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) standards to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.* Maintains regular and reliable attendance.* Contributes to culture through alignment with company values and code of conduct. Maintains a positive attitude, displays enthusiasm for assigned tasks, and communicates effectively and professionally with team members.* Other related duties.| || --- || **Education** |* High school diploma or GED.* Trade or technical school experience is preferred.| || --- || **Skills and Qualifications** |* Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred.* Ability to read and understand process documents.* Basic computer skills| || --- || **Physical Requirements** |* Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds on a regular and routine basis.* Frequent bending and twisting required.* Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.* Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as defined by process.*Tosoh SMD, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disabled/Veterans*
