The Digital News Producer will continuously monitor The Sun's network of content partners, news organizations, government agencies and other reliable sources to identify important and compelling stories our readers should know about. The producer will select, edit, aggregate and, when appropriate, build original stories from that material for The Sun's digital platforms and expanded e-edition. We'relookingforsomeonewithexcellentnewsjudgmentwhocanmovequicklyacrosssubjects.Onanygivenday,thatmightmeanidentifyingasignificantinvestigationfromapartnernewsroom,spottingaMarylandconnectioninanationalstory,turningagovernmentannouncementorpublicdocumentintoaclearnewsstory,orrecognizingaconsequentialdevelopmentbeingreportedelsewherethatTheSunshouldpursueorincludeinitsreport.
