Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Manage and monitor post-operative open-heart recovery patients
• Operate and manage mechanical circulatory support devices including Impella and intra-aortic balloon pumps
• Adhere to unit guidelines for weekend and holiday rotation coverage
• Complete required learning modules and maintain compliance with all facility standards prior to and during assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
• Minimum of 24 months of CVICU experience with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Valid driver's license to verify non-Arizona residency (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
• CVICU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Hands-on experience with direct open-heart recovery, Impella, and intra-aortic balloon pump management
