Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide care to trauma level 3 patients, including GSW, stabbing, MVA, and falls
• Manage patients with stroke, heart failure, and chest pain
• Perform fluid resuscitation/blood product administration
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and perform conscious sedation
• Administer critical care drips and manage chest tubes and NGT placements

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Preferred: TNCC certification
