Travel Acute Inpatient Physical Therapist - $2,172 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Bakersfield, California. Responsibilities As a PT, evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff; coordinate with support staff. Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines. Understand and comply with the PT board's rules and state regulations. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care. Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as indicated based on patient condition. Utilize Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Must have 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply. State-specific licensure and BLS certification. Ability to stand and walk for long periods; ability to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Other certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
