We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer who thrives in a family-centric, locally rooted, design-build environment. The Lead Engineer will be responsible for managing the design of structural components such as foundations, framed structures, and various concrete structural projects.

This role involves leading new development projects and collaborating effectively within our design-build team.

Given MBC's role as a Design-Build and General Contracting firm, the Lead Engineer will engage in direct field interaction with construction operations to ensure seamless project execution.

Job Tasks

• Manage and oversee consulting design projects & client engagement.
• Design structural components, including foundations, framed structures, and concrete projects.
• Head new development projects and collaborate with Design-Build team.
• Handle a diverse range of projects, spanning public and private sectors.
• Engage in direct field interaction with construction operations to support continuous construction activities.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering, or any applicable degree program.
• PE Licensure and 5+ years of industry experience, managerial preferred.
• Strong planning, organizational, and communication/writing skills.
• Understanding of design-build project design and execution.
• Understanding of Prime Design Firm management, and sub-consultant coordination
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Autodesk, CAD, Civil3D, Revit, STAAD.Pro.
• Valid Texas drivers' license and meet company's auto insurability requirements.
