About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Supply Chain to provide executive leadership for its end-to-end food distribution operations. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the safe, equitable, and cost-effective movement of food from warehouses to community partners, with a strong focus on advancing the organization's mission to end food insecurity. The successful candidate will be the senior-most leader in the supply chain function, accountable for operational performance, continuous improvement, and the development of a scalable, multi-year supply chain strategy. Key responsibilities include leading the operations team, contributing to organizational priorities, and owning strategic and operational leadership for all food distribution functions. The role also involves full accountability for food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, as well as service standards that support equitable access for agency partners and community programs. Ideal candidates for the Vice President, Supply Chain position at the company will be strategic, data-driven leaders with a passion for the mission of ending food insecurity. They should be operationally fluent builders, capable of driving operational transformation and building infrastructure, systems, and processes with measurable results. A collaborative leadership style is essential, with a proven track record of investing in and growing diverse teams, and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization. The role requires a candidate with a genuine commitment to the mission, informed by senior leadership experience in food distribution, nonprofit logistics, public sector operations, or other mission-driven settings. The VP will also lead a significant operational transformation, including the start-up and optimization of a next-generation food distribution operation, and will be instrumental in the transition to more sustainable, advanced logistics platforms.
