Van Driver

Job Overview JYL Transportation, Inc. is seeking full‑time Special Needs Van Drivers to transport children and adults to day programs, medical appointments, and community activities. What We Offer Training rate of $20/hr & Driver rate of $23.70/hr Extra $1/hr for all wheelchair routes 40 hours per week with potential for full‑time hours No commute – the van goes home with you 401(k) plan option, dental and vision coverage, company‑paid life insurance Requirements Age 19 or older 3+ years of consecutive driving experience Active driver’s license with a safe driving record Enjoy working with children and elderly, and demonstrate patience and empathy Responsibilities Safely operate a motor vehicle in accordance with all state and federal traffic laws Operate a variety of vehicles, including sedans, mini‑vans, full‑size passenger vans, and wheelchair vans Assist passengers as needed, including helping them enter and exit the vehicle, using lap and shoulder belts, and securing them in car seats and booster seats Communicate effectively and clearly with special needs children/adults, parents, program staff, and the elderly EEO Statement Beacon Mobility is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
