Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit

12-hour shifts, primarily nights, every other weekend, and every other holiday.

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks: 13

2 years of RN ICU experience with multispecialty ICU (CCU/SICU/MICU/NEURO/CT)

Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN (preferred)

MA License

BLS and ACLS certification

NIHSS certification

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer proficiency

Telemetry experience required; must independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips

Deliver nursing care in the ICU unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.

Communicate with various healthcare team members, patients, and their families.

Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.

Update and manage patient records accurately.

Follow guidelines and policies established by the nursing department.

Assist in quality improvement projects as needed.
