Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our gastroenterology team. Maryland or other State license required. The provider will evaluate new patients and follow-ups in the hospital, perform daily rounds at two hospitals, assist physicians with charting, review labs, and respond to patient phone inquiries. New grads with Maryland license are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and manage new and follow-up GI patients in the hospital setting Round at two hospitals and coordinate inpatient care with physicians and hospital teams Assist physicians by completing charts and documentation Review laboratory and diagnostic results and communicate findings to patients/teams Respond to patient phone calls and coordinate follow-up care and referrals Requirements Current PA or NP license without restriction; Maryland license a plus (other state licenses acceptable subject to satisfactory MD transfer) required Previous PA/NP clinical experience preferred but not required Gastroenterology experience a plus Current Controlled Dangerous Substance authorization and DEA license required Current credentialing at local hospitals and with Medicare/commercial insurers a plus Competitive salary based on experience Paid vacation Health insurance Malpractice insurance provided Paid continuing education conference time and expenses License renewal and hospital dues covered Equal Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds. #J-18808-Ljbffr
