Experience with moving industry is a plus. Supervisory experience is preferred. While not a daily occurence, Individual should possess the ability to properly and safely lift, pack, load and unload vehicle as required. This position may require writing a complete and accurate inventory of household contents, office goods or furniture as needed. Reading, writing and ability to understand English is essential. Mathematical skills also required as weights, measurements, volumes and distance calculations are a job responsibility. Transporting of shipments to and between warehouse, residents, commercial job sites as well as military basis is required. Perform pre-trip & post-trip inspection on truck assigned to ensure travel worthiness. Assist in preparation of vehicle before leaving branch location to assure all materials are placed on vehicle. Perform logs/ELD's. Excellent communication and team approach is essential. This position is a leadership role in which you will provide guidance and organization to crew in a manner in line with the Olympia Way. Early a.m. hours to dispatch and flexible work scheduled is key.
