Description The Speech and Language Center in Sterling, Virginia is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team! We provide Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and ABA services in one collaborative setting, allowing our clinicians to work together to provide comprehensive, whole-child care. About the Role At The Speech and Language Center, we believe every child deserves to be understood, respected, and celebrated for who they are. We partner closely with families to create meaningful, individualized goals that help children participate more fully in everyday activities and routines. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you'll evaluate and treat children with a variety of developmental, sensory, fine motor, visual motor, self-care, and emotional regulation needs while collaborating with an exceptional team of SLPs, PTs, and BCBAs. What You'll Do Complete comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide engaging, evidence-based, child-led, family-centered, and neurodiversity-affirming occupational therapy services. Support children in developing fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-care, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and play skills. Collaborate closely with Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, and BCBAs to provide coordinated, whole-child care. Educate and coach caregivers to promote success and carryover in daily routines. Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress notes, and treatment plans. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, continuing education opportunities, and community outreach initiatives. What We're Looking For Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy. Current Virginia Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility). Pediatric experience preferred. Strong clinical reasoning and a passion for helping children develop the skills they need to participate in meaningful daily activities. A collaborative, compassionate clinician who values family-centered, neurodiversity-affirming care. Excellent communication skills and a desire to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
