Patient Care Technician (PCT/CNA) - Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights 12 (18:45-7:15) - Every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

The Patient Care Technician (PCT/CNA) will take direction from the registered nurse and float to Vineland/Elmer as needed. The primary functions include maintaining a safe, clean environment in patient rooms and service areas while assisting licensed personnel with basic patient needs and monitoring health and vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed personnel with basic patient needs.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient rooms and service areas.
• Provide support to nursing staff as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience as a CNA or PCT in an acute setting.
• Must have patient bedside experience, including taking vitals.
• CNA or PCT certification and BLS required.
