The Metal Stud Framer/Acoustical Ceiling Mechanic specializes in metal stud framing, hanging Gyp and installing acoustical ceilings primarily in commercial building projects. This role requires precision and expertise to ensure structural integrity and sound absorption compliance within commercial interiors.
Responsibilities
- Metal stud framing for commercial construction projects
- Installing Gyp & Insulation
- Framing acoustical ceilings & installing ceiling tile
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in metal stud framing or acoustical ceiling installation
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in metal stud framing techniques
- Experienced in acoustical ceiling installation
- Skilled in measurement and layout
- Competent with hand and power tools
- Strong teamwork abilities
