Registered Nurse - Acute Care Hospital

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (06:30 - 15:00). This position includes on-call responsibilities.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in an acute care hospital environment with a focus on comprehensive patient care. The RN will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:1, ensuring high-quality care and patient safety. The role requires participation in on-call shifts with expectations of 4-6 calls in a 6-week timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a dynamic acute care setting.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care.
• Participate in on-call shifts as required by the facility.
• Ensure adherence to established protocols and safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Current RN license in California.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Previous charge nurse experience is a plus.
