AI Security Engineer

Kforce has a client that is seeking an AI Security Engineer in Irving, TX. Duties:

• AI Security Engineer will develop and implement security controls, standards, and best practices across applications, systems, and infrastructure
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks, vulnerabilities, and potential threats
• Support data protection, privacy, and compliance requirements through appropriate governance and security measures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into development, deployment, and operational processes
• Develop monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities to address security events and emerging threats
• Conduct security reviews, risk assessments, and vendor evaluations
• As an AI Security Engineer, you will provide guidance, training, and support on security best practices to technical and business stakeholders
• Track security initiatives and metrics to measure program effectiveness and continuous improvement
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in information security, application security, cloud security, infrastructure security, or a related discipline
• Experience implementing security controls and managing risk across enterprise environments
• Experience with cloud platforms, modern infrastructure technologies, and secure development practices
• Knowledge of security architecture, governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks
• Familiarity with security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence security initiatives
