About Our Agency I opened my agency in 2012 and currently lead a close‑knit team of two, with plans to continue growing. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I spent 15 years as a home builder, and I’ve also served as an active law enforcement officer for 20 years. I attended Stephen F. Austin State University and am a married father of two. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, hunting, long‑distance and clay shooting, and occasionally getting out on the golf course. Our agency offers paid time off, paid holidays, and licensing costs paid up front. We also prioritize work‑life balance with a 35‑hour workweek. Our regular schedule is 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, with a one‑hour lunch each day. Our office is laid‑back, close‑knit, and fun. We genuinely get along with one another, communicate well, and believe enjoying the people you work with makes a difference. At the same time, we value accountability and expect everyone to take ownership of their responsibilities. Role Description Jeremy Hooter - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. If you thrive in a supportive role and are eager to learn and grow within the insurance industry. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members. Manage appointment scheduling and office communications. Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records. Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options. Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs. Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects. Qualifications Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role. Communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Compensation: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year We're Hiring!
