Details Work in a combined adult and pediatric Emergency Department Treats all patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Patient presentations include the full spectrum of ED diagnoses including CVA, ortho‑trauma, head injury, near drowning, and all standard emergency conditions 12‑hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12 schedule) Every third weekend required Medication dispensing via Pyxis Documentation via MediTech EMR Communication via Vocera system 13‑week contract Requirements Active IL RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required Experience in a combined adult/pediatric ED required Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management Experience with blood product administration, central line care/management, and phlebotomy Skilled in IV insertion, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressor administration, and procedural sedation Experience with ABG interpretation and isolation precautions Additional Information First‑time travelers are welcome to apply Navy blue scrubs required Maximum of 5 days of RTO for the contract; all time‑off requests must be submitted upfront 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7‑year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration American Traveler Job ID #P-720704.
