That starts by employing a talented and highly qualified group of experts that develop the tools to support research scientists.Currently, we are looking to add an Accountant to the team:Responsibilities and Duties:Lead inventory related processes and reconciliationSupport annual budget preparation and update revenue forecastsPrepare, review, reconcile, and analyze general ledger accountsPrepare recurring, reversing, and adjusting journal entriesCoordinate with the external tax firm by providing tax-related information and supporting documentation for property tax, sales tax, and income tax filingsUpdate and review workpapers such as patent and loan schedulesAssist with the month end, quarter end, and year end closings and reporting processesPrepare audit support materials and coordinate with external auditorsGather supporting documentation for periodic compliance reporting requirements, including census reporting, insurance reporting, and other regulatory filingsRequirements:Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experienceCertified Public Accountant designation preferredProficiency in Microsoft D365, Excel, VENA, Avalara Sales Tax, CertCapture, Word, Office, PowerPointStrong knowledge of GAAPAvailability to work on-site in Ann Arbor during normal business hoursDemonstrate Cayman's Core Values – Integrity, Collaboration, People, Learning, and ExcellenceWhat we Provide:Competitive compensationMedical, dental and vision insuranceGenerous paid time-off (4 weeks) for vacations, sick and/or personal reasonsOver 10 paid holidays per year, including the week of 12/24 through 1/1401(k) planTuition Reimbursement and Student Debt Payment ProgramLife and disability insurance plansFlexible spending accounts for medical and dependent care (FSA)Fun employee events all year longFlexible work schedulesEmployee assistance programCasual dressOnsite Gym FacilityEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
