About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer with a focus on Global Banking Regulations. The successful candidate will be part of a global compliance team that covers structural banking reform, including CFTC Swap Dealer, SEC Security-Based Swap Dealer, French Banking Law, and the Volcker Rule. Key responsibilities for this role include organizing and supervising the compliance program for swap dealer rules, monitoring and advising on the implementation of regulatory changes, and overseeing the compliance program for the Volcker Rule and French Banking Law in the Americas region. The role also involves reporting and escalating regulatory matters to senior management and acting as a subject matter expert for all issues related to the swap dealer. Applicants must have a minimum of 5-10 years of investment banking experience, with a strong background in broker-dealer, swap dealer, or related legal and regulatory experience. A working knowledge of US and international G10 regulations in structural bank reform and OTC derivatives is essential. The role requires strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to senior management. A JD or MBA is preferred, and experience in a swap dealer compliance office or similar role is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a compliance mindset, and the ability to work autonomously while being a strong team player.
