Job Summary:
This position is for a Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse located in New Braunfels, Texas. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a high-volume facility with specialized obstetric and neonatal services. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day. The position offers night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Details:

• Address: New Braunfels, TX
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred), RN License in Texas or a compact state, BLS (AHA only), current certification from AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), STABLE (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants) certification, NRP certification, ACLS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in the related nursing specialty, Perinatal RN Residency or recent practice in a Perinatal Setting.
• Additional Information: All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. New hires are precepted by trained staff and must complete organizational entry and Perinatal Services-specific competency validations. Completion of all annual competency verification requirements is also required.
• Patient Ratio: 1:2 for Labor and Delivery, 1:6 (3 moms/3 babies) for postpartum.
