Apartment Community Groundskeeper

Job Description Job Description Were seeking a reliable Groundskeeper to maintain exterior cleanliness, safety, and common-area appearance. Key Responsibilities: Maintain exterior common areas: sidewalks, courtyards, parking lots, trash enclosures, and walkways Empty and clean trash/recycling areas; remove debris and litter from grounds Sweep and pressure-wash exterior surfaces and common areas as needed Perform basic exterior maintenance and repairs (fencing, signage, trash cans, lighting fixtures) Operate and maintain non-landscaping equipment (pavement sweepers, blowers, pressure washers) Monitor and report safety hazards, property damage, vandalism, and maintenance needs to management Assist with move-in/move-out clean-ups, event setups, and special projects Follow property safety, appearance, and sustainability standards Qualifications: ~1+ year groundskeeping, maintenance, custodial, or general labor experience preferred ~ Ability to operate relevant equipment safely ~ Basic handyman skills for light exterior repairs ~ Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision ~ Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions ~ Valid drivers license and reliable transportation ~ High school diploma or equivalent preferred Core Values: Honesty Integrity Competence Enthusiasm Professionalism Reliability & Attendance DrugFree Workplace Equal Opportunity Employer
