Commercial Lines Account Manager Job Summary Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing a generalist book of business with a focus on small to mid-market accounts, particularly in the technology sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Compensation Package Salary Range : $75,000 - $100,000 (commensurate with experience) Responsibilities Manage and support renewal and new business accounts. Serve as a knowledgeable and friendly point of contact for client inquiries. Quote and market accounts using online raters, underwriters, and general agents. Prepare coverage summaries, proposals, applications, ACORD forms, certificates, and other necessary documentation. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflows and exceptional client satisfaction. Maintain prompt and accurate communication to deliver five-star service. Qualifications/Requirements Experience : Minimum of 4+ years in Commercial Lines (small to mid-market accounts preferred). Licensing : Valid California Property & Casualty (P&C) License. Technical Skills : Familiarity with BOP/GL, Workers Compensation, D&O, E&O, and related lines. Experience with Epic software is a plus. Soft Skills : Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills. Warm, professional communication style with the ability to build rapport easily. Team-oriented mindset with solid organizational and computer skills. Personable, customer-focused, and eager to contribute to a positive team culture. Preferred Experience : Experience marketing coverages with underwriters, general agents, and online raters.
