Residential Support Staff Lead (3rd Shift 12am - 8am)

Make a Difference Every Day!North Community Counseling Centers (NCCC) is looking for caring, dependable, and positive individuals to join our residential team!Our residential homes provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for adults living with mental health and behavioral health diagnoses. Our residents are mostly independent and do not require hands-on personal care, such as bathing, dressing, or toileting assistance.As Residential Support Staff, you'll build meaningful relationships, help residents with daily routines, encourage independence, and support their overall well-being. Whether you're sharing a meal, playing games, helping with household activities, or joining residents on community outings, you'll have opportunities to make a positive difference every day.Experience preferred but not necessary: we provide training to help you feel confident and successful in your role.North Community Counseling Centers (NCCC) is a nonprofit behavioral health organization that has served the community since 1968. We provide mental health and addiction services that help individuals improve their well-being, build independence, and reach their personal goals.What You'll Do*Create a safe, positive, and supportive home environment for residents.Build positive relationships with residents through conversation, games, movies, walks, and other activities.Encourage independence and assist with everyday routines, such as meal preparation and household chores.Accompany residents on appointments, shopping trips, recreational outings, and community activities.Support residents with medications according to training and agency procedures.Help new residents become familiar with their home, daily routines, and program expectations.Monitor resident well-being and respond appropriately to concerns or emergencies.Complete daily activity logs, shift reports, medication records, and incident reports.Follow agency policies, safety procedures, and residential program guidelines.Assist with staffing coverage at other NCCC residential homes when needed.Participate in required training, staff meetings, and supervision.Place orders and track inventory.Oversee daily task lists for Residential Staff.Report facility concerns and submit maintenance requests.Complete incident reports.*Residential Support Staff DO NOT provide personal care such as bathing, grooming or wound care.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED required.Must be at least 18 years old.Valid driver's license required.Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic documentation.Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.Previous experience in residential care, mental health, or human services is preferred but not required.Dependable, patient, compassionate, and comfortable working with adults with behavioral health needs.Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and provide respectful, supportive care.Why Join NCCC?Meals provided during shifts.Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Paid vacation and sick time.9 paid holidays.Free continuing education and training opportunities.Mileage reimbursement.A supportive team environment.Meaningful work that makes a difference in people's lives.Job Type: Full-timeShifts: 8am-4pm; 4pm-12am; 12am-8amPay: $17/hr +shift differential if applicableJoin our team and help create a place where residents feel safe, supported, respected, and encouraged to live as independently as possible!North Community Counseling Centers is an equal opportunity employer.
