Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Tech with 2+ years of experience in interventional cardiology/radiology for a 13-week travel contract at a Level III trauma teaching hospital in Kennewick, WA.

Details

• Located at a 111-bed Level III trauma teaching hospital in Kennewick, WA serving the Tri-Cities area
• Assignment in a 1st floor Cardiac Cath Lab with 2 procedure rooms
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• 3-person team per case
• Cases include cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Primary role is scrubbing; monitoring experience preferred
• Equipment includes Philips/McKesson-Change Healthcare Hemo and Maquet
• EHR: Paragon (hospital); McKesson-Change Healthcare (hemodynamic)
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 7 shifts per 2-week pay period with standby included
• Variable on-call weekend hours required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• RT or CVIS certification, or RCIS eligibility for CVIS license in WA required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS required
• Associate's degree minimum required
• Proficiency in scrub role required; monitoring role experience preferred
• Experience with CV/PV diagnostic and interventional procedures
• License required if applicable
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures in a scrub role
• Teaching hospital environment; outgoing, adaptable, team-oriented candidates preferred
• Green scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
