TITLE: Leave of Absence Analyst - Exp with Union Employees and BILINGUAL - Spanish TYPE: Direct Hire Location: Santa Fe, CA Annual Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 + plus benefits, insurance, paid time off, and 401k Experience : +3 years of Leave of Absence experience. Leave Of Absence relevant experience: Manage end-to-end FMLA, ADA, state/local leaves, and short- or long-term disability cases , from initial request through return to work. Strong knowledge of FMLA Compliance & Documentation – Ensure leave administration complies with applicable laws and company policies while maintaining confidentiality of medical and employee records. Communicate leave requirements and documentation to employees and collaborate with HR, managers, and other stakeholders on eligibility, accommodations, and operational needs. Maintain accurate leave records in ADP, prepare leave metrics/reports, identify process improvements, and provide training and guidance to LOA specialists and stakeholders. Excel : XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, Conditional Formatting, Filters and sorting, Substitution formula, Concat, Text functions (LEFT, RIGHT) Full JD Leave of Absence Analyst Russell Tobin is seeking a Leave Analyst will oversee and administer leave requests and accommodations requiring specialized attention, particularly those arising under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), state and local leave laws, and short-term or long-term disability plans. We are looking for: 3+ years of Leave of Absence/FMLA experience. MUST BE BILINGUAL - Spanish Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required. Relevant experience with Union employees. Stakeholder Management. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred. Completion of specialized certification or training on FMLA/leave administration a plus. Key Responsibilities: Manage and track employee leave information using ADP and prepare reporting metrics. Oversee FMLA leave administration from initial notice through return to work. Communicate with employees regarding their leave responsibilities and necessary documentation. Collaborate with HR and managers to determine leave eligibility and support operational improvements. Advise on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off and disability benefits. Facilitate the return-to-work process for employees after extended leave. Maintain compliance with legal requirements and ensure confidentiality of medical documentation. Provide training and guidance to LOA Specialists and educate stakeholders on leave policies.
