Assistant Property Manager — Yandr Realty (Elizabeth & Union City, NJ) Location: Elizabeth, NJ / Union City, NJ (On-site) Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, plus nights/weekends as needed for emergencies Compensation: $54,000–$66,000/year (based on experience) About the Role Yandr Realty is looking for a hands‑on Assistant Property Manager to help oversee our residential portfolio of roughly 168 units across five multifamily buildings in Elizabeth and Union City, NJ. This is an on‑site role for someone who enjoys working directly with residents, staying organized, and keeping buildings running smoothly. What You’ll Do Serve as an on‑site point of contact for tenants across our Elizabeth and Union City buildings Assist with leasing: showings, applications, screening, and lease renewals Handle rent collection, tenant communications, and day‑to‑day resident issues Coordinate maintenance requests and vendors, and track work through to completion Conduct unit inspections and turnover walkthroughs Help maintain accurate records in AppFolio (rent rolls, work orders, tenant files) Respond to after‑hours emergencies as needed (nights/weekends) What We’re Looking For Prior experience in residential property management Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Familiarity with AppFolio property management software preferred Comfortable working on‑site and being available for occasional evening/weekend emergencies Strong organizational skills and clear communication with tenants, vendors, and ownership Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently #J-18808-Ljbffr Y&R Management
