The Position JRG is seeking a litigation attorney with approximately three to five years of experience to join our growing civil litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cases through the litigation process, including pleadings, written discovery, depositions, law and motion, settlement negotiations, and trial. This position offers the opportunity to handle meaningful and varied matters while working closely with experienced attorneys. The successful candidate will be given substantial responsibility, direct client contact, and opportunities to develop courtroom, case-management, and business-development skills. Key Responsibilities Manage a varied civil litigation caseload under appropriate supervision Develop case strategies and provide practical, results-oriented advice to clients Draft complaints, answers, motions, discovery, briefs, and other litigation documents Conduct and defend depositions Prepare for and appear at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnesses Analyze factual and legal issues and prepare clear, persuasive written work Work collaboratively with partners, associates, paralegals, and support staff Assist with the development and maintenance of client relationships Participate in firm, professional, and community activities Qualifications Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California Approximately three to five years of civil litigation experience Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills Experience with written discovery, depositions, and law and motion practice Ability to manage deadlines and multiple matters efficiently Sound professional judgment and a commitment to excellent client service Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team Trial, arbitration, or significant evidentiary-hearing experience is a plus JRG Firmwide Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience and performance Performance-based bonus opportunities 401(k) plan with employer matching Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Health Savings Account Life insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage Flexible and hybrid work arrangements for qualifying positions Experienced administrative and practice support Opportunities for advancement, leadership, and mentorship Supportive, collegial, and team-oriented work environment The anticipated salary range for this position is $115,000 to $150,000 per year , depending on experience, demonstrated skills, professional qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
