Step into an impactful opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) supporting students across PreK through 12th grade on a contract basis. This in-person, school-based role will be a vital resource for approximately 40 students, some of whom are nonverbal and benefit from low-tech AAC devices. You’ll collaborate within a dedicated educational team to help each student reach their communication goals.

A unique feature of this assignment is the chance to begin your role early and shadow the current SLP going out on medical leave. This invaluable transition will help you feel confident and supported as you step into the position. The assignment is slated to start October 1, 2026 and run through November 20, 2026, with potential to extend through the end of the semester.

What we’re looking for:

• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Current NJDOE SLP Certification
• Experience working with children in PreK-12th grade
• Confidence supporting students who are nonverbal
• Familiarity with low-tech AAC devices is highly valued
• Commitment to providing in-person services (no virtual/VOCO options)
• Professional and warm communication style to connect with students, staff, and families
