Network Engineer

Seeking a skilled, dedicated and proactive Network Engineer with strong interpersonal and project management skills to operate a large-scale LAN/WAN network infrastructure deployed globally.

Responsibilities:

• Install, support and maintain hardware and software infrastructure according to best practices. Platforms includes routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers etc.
• Diagnose problems and solve issues, often under time constraints.
• Assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration and security best practices; Provide network documentation; Monitor network usage, anticipate problems and suggest solutions; Work in an agile environment.

Requirement:

• 6+ years of expertise in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including: firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, wireless access points and controllers.
• Must have design implementation and operational experience with; Enterprise/carrier-class routers and switches (Juniper MX and Cisco Nexus preferred). Knowledgeable in application transport and network infrastructure protocols (SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP, WINS, NTP, FTP, SMTP, CIFS, LDAP, and Microsoft AD), and possess an understanding of how to support these applications/ protocols when accessed through VPN and firewall appliances.
• Hands-on technical experience working with VPN technologies (IPSEC, SSL VPN, WebVPN, AnyConnect, etc.)
• Experience in BGP, OSPF, and MPLS (traffic engineering implementation).
• Extensive experience in Load Balancers and operational experience across multiple vendors; preferably F5
• Experience in network tools such as Cacti, Nagios, RANCID, SNMP and Netflow.
• Understanding and implementation of network traffic analysis, remote access methods and systems, stateful inspection firewalls, encryption, authentication and authorization technology
• Able to handle multiple, complex, short term projects and incidents simultaneously.
• Comfortable documenting and explaining network topologies and Diagram explain and plan for future upgrades.
• Strong oral, written, communications, and presentation skills

Summary Technical Skills: Very strong in JunOS, Juniper, SRX, Cisco, Nexus F5 Loadabalncers Minimum years of experience*: 5+

Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute*:

• Implementing, administering and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices like firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, wireless access points,security devices and controllers.
• Providing L2 support for the products that is used in client infrastructure like Juniper,Cisco,F5 Load balancers,Palo Alto etc and ready to support new products that comes under our support.
• Working on incident, change, problem Management processes as defined by client.
