Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner- Mesa, AZ
Core Responsibilities
- Patient Evaluation : Assess patients with cardiovascular diseases in outpatient and hospital settings.
- Diagnosis & Management : Independently diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions with minimal supervision.
- Treatment Planning : Develop and adjust treatment plans, including medication management.
- Procedural Support : Assist in pre- and post-procedure care, review EKGs, cardiac monitoring, and device reports.
- Patient Education : Provide counseling on cardiovascular health, prevention, and lifestyle changes.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and other APPs.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing
- Licensed NP in Arizona (DEA eligible)
- Cardiology experience preferred (minimum 1 year)
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time position (primarily Monday–Friday).
- On-call duties required.
- Collaborative, high-volume cardiology practice with opportunities for specialization in electrophysiology and advanced cardiovascular care.
