You'll work closely with the Pharmacy team to deliver results that make a difference.What You'll DoAs a Temporary Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:Create and maintain accurate patient profiles (demographics, insurance, allergies, etc.) to support timely and accurate prescription processingAssist with prescription fulfillment workflows, balancing quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environmentAnswer routine questions on drug coverage, pricing, availability, formularies, and pharmacy services using discretion and sound judgmentSupport multiple pharmacy workstations as assigned (data entry, filling, shipping, call support, register, and inventory management)Use electronic medical records to communicate with internal teams regarding refills, authorizations, and other non-clinical medication questionsWhat You'll BringThe ideal candidate for this role will have:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious pharmacy experience preferred; medical setting experience and pharmacy terminology knowledge a plusActive pharmacy technician license in the state you're applying for, or ability to obtain within 90 daysNational pharmacy technician certification preferredWhy Join Us in Brunswick?Friendly, collaborative team environment with a strong service mindsetGreat opportunity to build pharmacy operations experience in a high-production settingEnjoy affordable health and prescription coverage with no waiting period.
