Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, conducting physical exams and reviewing extensive medical histories.
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through careful analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results.
• Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Provide vital intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient safety during procedures, and expertly handling surgical tools.
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wound care, and conducting patient education as well as discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience with clinical rotations focused on surgical practices is highly preferred.

Certifications

• Active and unencumbered PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant (or eligibility for it).
