Auto House Truck Repair in Galva, Kansas is seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our service team. If you have a passion for working on diesel engines and are looking for a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

An ideal candidate will have previous experience, be self-motivated, and will be required to own their own tools. They will also have previous experience with air lines/brakes, hydraulics, diesel engines & electrical diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair & maintenance of service trucks, semi and trailers
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and related vehicle systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify necessary repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure all services are completed efficiently and meet quality standards.
• Keep detailed records of services performed and parts used.
• Work collaboratively with team members to provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or in a related role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• ADE certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Vision abilities required by this job include close vision as well as color vision. Employee will frequently lift 25 pounds, occasionally lift 5 pounds, and rarely lift 100 pounds with assistance.
