Class A Driver

Role: Delivery Driver responsible for safely transporting and delivering products to customers, unloading items according to specifications, and maintaining proper documentation and safety protocols. Operate tractor-trailers and other vehicles, including straight trucks, ensuring adherence to DOT and safety regulations. Unload products by hand or using carts, placing items in designated customer storage areas while maintaining sanitation and food safety standards. Complete paperwork, logs, inspections, and invoices accurately and timely. Develop good customer relationships through courteous and clear communication. Follow safety procedures, handle hazardous materials, and operate equipment such as onboard computers and hand carts. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, with preferred tractor-trailer driving experience or completion of a driving school; valid Class A CDL license; knowledge of DOT and hazmat guidelines. Skills include safe long-distance driving, effective communication, problem-solving, and basic math. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull heavy loads, and perform load/unload tasks in various weather conditions. Capable of working independently, organizing activities, and maintaining alertness during driving. Work Environment: Occasional exposure to extreme weather, moving mechanical parts, and confined spaces, with moderate noise levels. Must be flexible to work overnight, weekends, holidays, and start at various times.
