Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,460-$2,870
• Start Date: 8/3/2026
• Assignment Length: 12 weeks
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Shift Options: 7:00am-3:30pm, 7:00am-5:00pm, or 7:00am-7:00pm
• Setting: Hospital-based anesthesia practice
• Patient Population: Primarily pediatric patients, including ages 2 days to 2 years old, with some older pediatric patients as needed
• EMR: Expanse

Job Requirements

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology required
• Current Virginia medical license or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure
• DEA required
• Degree from an accredited residency program
• Ability to work effectively within a care team model

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric general surgical cases in a hospital setting
• Manage cases including hernias, pyloric stenosis, ENT procedures, and other pediatric surgical interventions
• Perform personally managed cases and supervisory responsibilities as needed
• Collaborate with CRNAs, surgeons, and interdisciplinary clinical staff to support safe, efficient patient care
• Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record
• Participate in required orientation and onboarding activities prior to the clinical start date
